Start Here: How Shipping Works

As of the time this article was published, all vendors are required to use United States Postal Service (USPS) for all shipping of products sold on TackleSpy.

We manage all of the shipping processes on the TackleSpy Marketplace.

Overview of Shipping Process #

  1. A customer orders your products from the TackleSpy store.
  2. You get notified via email about this new order, including all relevant details.
  3. We process the shipping label for you.
  4. You recieve an email with the Shipping Label and Packing Label. At this point, we’ve already paid for the shipping label.
  5. You pack up your order, drop in the Packing Slip, stick on the label, and send it out the door.

Why USPS? #

We use USPS to ensure a more uniform experience for our customers. When someone places an order on our Marketplace, that order will contain items from your shop, as well as items that are sold & shipped by other vendors. Having all items come via the same shipping service, with labels bought and paid for by TackleSpy, we are more able to ensure things work smoothly.

Who Pays for Shipping? #

Ultimately, we buy and provide you with already-paid-for shipping labels. This is where some of the commission we keep goes. When possible, we collect that amount from the customer.
